Andrew Robertson will undergo a medical with Liverpool tomorrow ahead of an £8 million move.
A deal that could be worth up to £10m has been agreed between the Reds and Hull City for the defender, who has left his side’s pre-season training camp.
Robertson was previously targeted by Jurgen Klopp last summer as he looks to solve his side’s left-back problems.
The 23-year-old will undergo a medical on Merseyside this Thursday but will not meet up with the Liverpool squad until they return from Hong Kong.
Released from Celtic as a teenager, Robertson went on to make 115 appearances for the Tigers following his move from Dundee United in 2014.
Robertson’s arrival most likely signals the end of Alberto Moreno’s time with Liverpool, as the club continue to hold out for £15m for the outcast defender.
He is expected to compete with James Milner for a starting berth after the Liverpool vice-captain was dropped back from midfield as Moreno failed to convince Klopp.
