Five of Liverpool FC’s opening games moved for TV

Liverpool will see five of their opening seven games changed for TV purposes.

The inaugural round of broadcast fixtures sees the Reds’ opening day trip to Watford on August 12 broadcast on Sky Sports as a 12.30pm kick-off.

Arsenal’s visit to Anfield has been put back 24 hours to Sunday, August 27 at 4pm while the September 9 clash with Manchester City will be a 12.30 KO.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will make their first appearance of the season on BT Sport when they take on Leicester City in a 5.30pm kick-off on September 23.

 

A reunion with ex-Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez is also set to be televised with Sky Sports picking up the game with Newcastle on October 1 at 4pm.

Further fixture changes are set to be announced in the coming weeks.
