Modo have brightened up Concert Square for those in need of a ‘Staycation’.
Throughout July and August, the Liverpool city centre bar will bring a touch of Mexican culture in true Modo fashion for those not going abroad this summer.
Beginning on June 30, the first Staycation event will see Modo team up with the World’s number one tequila brand Jose Cuervo, for a festival of tequila.
Setting up a tequila shack, Modo’s outside area will get a Mexican makeover with signs and traditional bunting in a Tequila Town style.
Customers will be invited to take part with a beat the bartender game, where they’ll go up against a expert mixologist to see who can make a Cuervo cocktail the quickest.
They’ll also have plenty of chances to win a Jose Cuervo Margarita pack by getting a selfie with the Cuervo Skeleton and uploading it to social media using the #TequilaTown hashtag.
Laura Harris, Modo’s brand manager, said: “The idea with Staycation was to bring a bit of the holiday spirit to Concert Square for our customers who may not be jetting off to the sun as yet, but still want to party like they’re abroad.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming our first Staycation partner to Concert Square this Friday and we’ve many more pop-ups planned as well as special offers and surprise guests!”
