Tiger Rock Hawker opening Liverpool city centre branch

Tiger Rock Hawker is celebrating its first anniversary by opening a second branch in Liverpool.

Owned by partners Vikki and Kean Teh, the specialist East Asian restaurant will open its second outlet in the heart of the city centre next month.

The North John Street location follows the success that Tiger Rock Hawker enjoyed in the first 12 months of their original Smithdown Road site.

Unique dishes varying from Thai to Vietnamese will be on the menu in the new venue along with the addition of a bar featuring their signature Bellini menu.

The design will stay true to its original interior but the addition of a new spacious bar will place an emphasis on an area both drinkers and diners can enjoy.

Vikki Teh said: “We’re so excited to bring our beloved Tiger Rock Hawker to Liverpool city centre.

“Since we opened our first site on the bustling Smithdown Road just one year ago, we have continued to receive fantastic feedback on our unique culinary offering and popular drinks selection.

“And it’s due to demand that we are opening our new site on North John Street. It feels only natural to take our brand one step further.

“The ethos behind our beloved Tiger Rock Hawker was inspired by our extensive travels across Asia and our passion for fine food, great drinks and a welcoming atmosphere.

“Thanks to Kean’s impressive career background as a chef, he has worked tirelessly to create a totally unique menu that is innovative and interesting, all the while keeping Asian influences and flavours at its heart.”
