Formby Hall unveils multi-million pound makeover

Formby Hall has re-opened its doors after a multi-million pound makeover.

To celebrate its £2.4 million facelift, the luxury resort opened its doors to over 150 invited guests to see the finished product at a launch event on Wednesday.

Guests were treated to a champagne and cocktail reception and a BBQ on the terrace before receiving guided tours to preview the halls ahead of reopening to the public.

The four-star resort is one of the country’s leading destinations for a golf getaway, drawing many visitors annually from across Europe.

The refurbishment sees newly installed loft rooms, redesigned bedrooms, an extension to the swimming pool and a variety of new treatment rooms in the health club.

Andrew Pyle, Formby Hall’s general manager, said: “We’re really delighted that all the work is now completed and excited to be able to reveal what we’ve achieved over the past few months.

“The response we’ve received so far has been really positive, and we appreciate all the support and patience our guests have shown while the refurbishment has been taking place.

“We’re sure they’ll agree it’s been well worth it and hope they’ll enjoy making the most of everything we’ve done.”
