Dinamo Zagreb confirm Liverpool FC midfielder bid

Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic is attracting interest from Dinamo Zagreb.

Grujic showed immense promise under Jurgen Klopp in the build-up to his debut season for the Reds but was subsequently derailed by a lengthy hamstring injury.

The Serbia international recently returned from the setback, having last featured in November’s EFL Cup over Leeds United, in the hope of a late season flourish.

Zagreb have monitored Grujic’s situation at Anfield and are keen to loan Klopp’s first signing as Liverpool manager, club adviser Zdravko Mamic has confirmed.

“I wanted to bring Andrija Zivkovic in from Benfica for €5million, but I failed,” he told Blic.

“Now I want to get Marko Grujic from Liverpool on loan.”

Gruijc has made just five first-team appearances since securing his £5.1 million move from Red Star Belgrade.
