Liverpool are set to move for Lucas Vazquez as the Real Madrid midfielder seeks regular first-team football.
Vazquez has started just eight games for Zinedine Zidane’s side this season, operating primarily as a back up to James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale.
According to reports in the Italian media, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of the 24-year-old and kept a close eye on him during his loan spell at Espanyol last season.
And Vazquez enjoyed a consistent run of games in Catalonia, making 39 appearances in all competitions, before returning to Madrid last summer.
Given Vazquez’s dispensible position at the Bernabeu, Liverpool could secure a deal for £10m as they seek to strenghen their attacking options ahead of next season.
