Liverpool’s first speciality fried chicken restaurant will be giving away free food at its first Big Chook Off next week.
Yard & Coop are set to hand out to 1,000 pieces of buttermilk fried chicken at their new Hanover Street location throughout the day on Wednesday, February 1.
The Big Chook Off gives every single person in Liverpool, from families, couples, businesses to students and tourists the chance to stock up, tuck in and get involved with some of the best chicken in the North West, all for free.
Carl Morris, co-owner of Yard & Coop, said: “The first two months of the new year always feel pretty bleak.
“So we thought what better way to cheer up the city, than with the chance to tuck into a delicious and succulent bird, all for free.
“We’re looking forward to sharing the love with everyone across Liverpool and introducing our epic buttermilk fried chicken to some new faces. We know it won’t disappoint.”
To receive a free plate of buttermilk fried chicken and chips, all customers need to do is sign up to Yard & Coop’s database, this can be done at www.yardandcoop.com/chookoff or in the restaurant on the day.
The Big Chook Off starts at 12pm on Wednesday 1st February.
Yard & Coop will be providing one piece of buttermilk chicken and chips per person, with one thousand to give away while stocks last.
