Liverpool have offered third-choice goalkeeper Adrian a new contract.
Adrian joined the Anfield club in summer 2019 as a free agent and went on to make 26 appearances in all competitions as an understudy to Alisson.
The Spaniard fell down the Reds’ pecking order following the emergence of academy graduate Caoimhin Kelleher, who has since featured 47 times.
But an offer to Adrian was confirmed on Wednesday with Arne Slot’s side announcing their retained and released list at the end of the campaign.
In addition to the 37-year-old, Liverpool have also offered fresh terms to the academy goalkeeping pair of Jacob Poytress and Reece Truemman.
Three other players will join Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara in leaving Merseyside in Adam Lewis, Melkamu Frauendorf and Mateusz Musialowski.
The trio were all handed debuts by Slot’s predecessor Jurgen Klopp with Musialowski’s bow arriving in March’s Europa League win over Sparta Prague.
