Kostas Tsimikas is eyeing more success after extending his Liverpool stay.

The Greek international put pen to paper on an improved long-term contract on Monday that will now tie his future to Jurgen Klopp’s side until June 2027.

Tsimikas has played a key role in the Reds’ trophy haul since joining from Olympiakos including scoring the winning penalty in the 2022 FA Cup final.

But the 27-year-old, who has made 65 appearances to date, revealed that he has already set his sights on further silverware during his time at Anfield.

Asked what his next aim is, Tsimikas replied: “More success, more work and more trophies.

“For me it is the most important thing, to win trophies, to be committed in every situation, to be part of all of this.

“I think this team has very big potential to win more trophies and we will go for it.

“Everybody, I think, is 100% there [and] focused for the next games and everybody is ready to achieve big things in the future.”
