Liverpool learn Europa League group stage fate

Liverpool have discovered who they will face in the Europa League group stage.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will take on Austrian outfit LASK, Belgium’s Union Saint-Galloise and Ligue 1 counterparts Toulouse in this season’s tournament.

The meeting with Saint-Galloise is also set to see a family reunion with Alexis Mac Allister’s brother Kevin already plying his trade with the Reds’ opponents.

Liverpool previously faced off against Toulouse during the Champions League qualifying round in 2007, winning comprehensively through a 5-0 aggregate.

Their last involvement in this tournament during 2015/16 saw Klopp inspire his new charges to a showpiece appearance, where they lost to Sevilla.
