Roberto Firmino will miss Liverpool’s next three games through injury.
Firmino is preparing to bid farewell to Jurgen Klopp’s side at the end of the season, having won every available trophy during an eight-year spell.
But the Brazil international’s farewell tour risks being truncated after he picked up a muscle injury during the Reds’ 6-1 thrashing of Leeds United.
Klopp confirmed on Friday that Firmino is sidelined for Nottingham Forest’s visit to Anfield and potentially the clashes with West Ham and Tottenham.
He said: “Unfortunately Bobby picked up a muscle issue a little bit.
“We will see how long that takes. It’s not too serious but he is definitely out for tomorrow.
“Next week we have two more games, I would say they are impossible as well and then we will see. We have to take it day by day.”
