World Cup star Josko Gvardiol has revealed that Liverpool is his ‘dream club’.
Gvardiol gained prominence during last winter’s tournament in Qatar, where his resolute defensive performances helped Croatia record a third-place finish.
The RB Leipzig centre-back, 20, already being courted by a host of Europe’s elite clubs with Real Madrid and Chelsea reportedly leading the chase.
But Gvardiol admits Anfield was the object of his affection from an early age.
“My dream club? That would definitely be Liverpool,” he told RTL Danas.
“Since I was little, I watched a lot of their matches with my dad. We covered every season in detail.
“It is a club that has remained in my heart.”
