Liverpool will host Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup’s third round.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are set to defend their trophy with a home tie against the Premier League’s bottom-placed club on the weekend of January 7 and 8.
They previously faced Wolves at the same stage of this competition in 2019, where Divock Origi’s goal could not prevent a 2-1 reversal at Molineux.
Origi also scored as the Reds suffered a repeat scoreline at Anfield, two years earlier, to bow out of the fourth round to their Black Country counterparts.
In total, the teams have faced off seven times in the FA Cup with Liverpool winning just two of them in February 1923 and February 1952 respectively.
