Arthur’s agent has rubbished claims that he is set to leave Liverpool early.
The Brazil international sealed a deadline day loan move to Anfield from Juventus to help bolster the midfield options for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Arthur made his Reds’ debut as a substitute in their opening Champions League group defeat to Napoli earlier this month but has not featured since.
He was involved in successive games for the club’s under-21 side against Leicester City and Rochdale respectively in efforts to build up rhythm.
But reports in Italy alleged the 26-year-old’s season-long stay was set to be prematurely curtailed by Liverpool amid doubts during his settling in period.
Speaking at the Trento Sports Festival, however, Arthur’s representative Federico Pastorello insisted those reports are wide of the mark.
“He arrived there on the last day of the transfer market and played little last year because of both [Max] Allegri’s choices and an injury,” said Pastorello.
“It’s normal for the first weeks to be used for adaptation and recovery of physical condition.
“Everyone is very happy with him. He gave up his holidays to stay in Liverpool to work. He’ll be at 100% soon.”
