Jurgen Klopp would leave Liverpool if they released dressing room footage of his team talks.
Klopp made the admission after a clip of Red Bull Salzburg coach Jesse Marsch’s half-time briefing in their Champions League clash with the Reds went viral.
The American’s impassioned speech to his team saw them stage an early second-half comeback from 3-1 down at Anfield despite losing the Group E fixture.
Brendan Rodgers’ return to his former club on Saturday with Leicester City brings the subject into sharper focus following his own spell in the Liverpool hot seat.

Rodgers’ start to his reign on Merseyside was filmed extensively as part of a fly-on-the-wall documentary series which became broadcast worldwide.
But Klopp insists that he will not be following in either Marsch or his predecessor’s footsteps when asked about the prospect of it happening with him.
He said: “If LFC would put a video out with me in a situation like that, I would leave the club.
“That’s the truth. That’s all I can say about that.”
Ahead of their meeting, both the Liverpool boss and Rodgers have been nominated for the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for September.
And Klopp admits that while he expects the Northern Irishman to receive a warm reception from the stands, his side cannot take the game with the Foxes lightly.
“He is doing really well – and to be honest, I am not surprised about that,” he added.
“I knew when I came here that he was not the reason that things did not work out. Since then he has done an incredible job at Celtic and now at Leicester.
“The reception will be good, from my side and from the supporters as well, but still it is not a friendly game and that’s what we want to make sure.
“We are there to perform as well and hopefully that’s what we will do.”
