Duncan Browne murder suspect appears in court

Detectives investigating the murder of Duncan Browne have charged a man.

Duncan, 23, suffered a cardiac arrest after being assaulted by a group of three men in Hanover Street at around 3.30am on Sunday, July 4.

The Kirkby resident was sadly pronounced dead the following day.

A 36-year-old from Stoneycroft has since been charged with his murder.

Michael McLoughlin will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court on Monday.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident and have urged members of the public with potential information to get in touch with them.
