Police have charged six men in connection with the murder of Miguel Reynolds.
Two men were held during raids in Sefton while an additional four were arrested at prisons in Merseyside and the West Midlands on Thursday morning.
Reynolds, from Manchester, was fatally wounded in Assissian Crescent in Netherton on June 7 last year.
All six men detained have been charged with the 21-year-old’s murder as well as with conspiracy to rob and conspiracy to possess a firearm and ammunition.
They have been named as Paul Blackhurst (26) and Kyle Sanders (20), both from Liverpool, Jake Mawhinney (20) from Waterloo, James Harrison (21) from Litherland.
Liam Watson (20) and Dale Avery (24), both of no fixed abode, have also been charged.
All six have been remanded in custody and will appear at Liverpool City Magistrates Court on Friday.
