A man is in a serious condition after being stabbed on a Crosby street.
Police and paramedics were called to Warrenhouse Road at around 7.45pm on Sunday to reports that a man had been attacked by a number of males.
The victim in his 30s was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his head and chest. His condition is currently described as serious but stable.
Detective Inspector Lee Wilkinson said: “I am really concerned that some members of the public still feel it is acceptable to carry and use a knife against someone else.
“We urge anyone that knows anything about this incident or the person responsible, to get in touch as a matter or urgency.”
