Sports Direct has become the latest Liverpool City Centre store to announce it’s closure. The Clayton Square store is the latest high street casualty.
This news comes as the large Tesco store in the same area closed over the weekend.
The Clayton Square branch of Sports Direct is now holding a closing down sale, with hand written signs stating ‘all stock reduced’.
A staff member said the store is due to close next month.
This area of the city centre has had a number of high profile closures including Rapid, Maplin, Currys, and PoundWorld.
