Three people have been admitted to hospital after they were involved in a collision with a police car.
Merseyside Police confirmed that a police vehicle that was en route to a separate incident when a collision occurred in Lowesoft Drive at around 6.20pm on Saturday.
A 24-year-old, a 16-year-old and a 14-year old have sustained injuries not thought to be life threatening and were taken to hospital.
Roads were closed on Garston Way and Horrocks Avenue whilst police dealt with the incident.
