Four charged over James Meadows murder

Four people have been charged in connection with the murder of 17-year-old James Meadows.

James, also known as  Froggy, was shot dead as he rode on the back of a motorbike on Lyme Cross Road in Huyton.

There had been a number of arrests in connection with the incident before a further four people were arrested this morning.

Merseyside Police confirmed this evening that all four people had been charged in connection with the murder. Three men and one woman are facing charges included murder, conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life and perverting the course of justice.

All four will appear tomorrow morning at Liverpool Magistrates Court.
