Three man who have been accused of murdering Brandon Regan have appeared in court today.
Brandon Regan’s body was discovered outside a home in Speke at around 10.20am on January 29.
A post-mortem found that the 17-year-old died as a result of stab wounds and police launched a murder investigations.
Arrests were made yesterday and three men have been charged with Brandon’s murder. All three men appeared in court today.
Ryan Buckley 33, Steven Jones 24 and Jack Butterworth 22, all confirmed their personal details as they appeared in court today.
They appeared in court to confirm that they understand the charge of murder and spoke to say that they did not want to enter a plea at this stage.
Nigel Power, QC, prosecuting, indicated that a murder trial that is estimated to last three weeks, could be provisionally booked in for April 8, 2019.
A plea and trial preparation hearing will take place on January 4, 2019.
Brian Jackson, defending all three men, did not apply for bail and Judge Goldstone remanded them in custody until the New Year.
