A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and murder following two incidents in Garston. Police have not released any details regarding potential victims at this stage.
Officers were called to Vesta Road at around 6pm yesterday evening following reports of an assault. They were then called to a further report of assault in Hardy Street at around 6.40pm.
Police believe that the two incidents are linked. A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and on suspicion of murder in connection with the two incidents.
In a statement regarding the incident Merseyside Police said that they “are in the very early stages of an ongoing investigation.”
