A man has been charged with the murder of his partner in Moreton.
Emergency services were called to a property on Wastdale Drive in the area at around 5.45am on Sunday where the discovery was made.
The woman has since been identified as Jill Sadler.
Detectives arrested David Sadler, 61, in connection the 58-year-old’s death and have now charged him with murder.
He is due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
