A man who was originally arrested after a stabbing on Queens Drive has handed himself in to local police and has now been charged in connection with the incident.
The incident occurred on Tuesday December 12, 2017. A 20-year-old man was stabbed in the leg whilst in a car on Queens Drive. The victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries that required hospital treatment and surgery.
21-year-old Kane Omar was originally arrested in connection with the stabbing on January 8, 2018 however he was released on bail.
Omar surrendered himself yesterday in to custody and has been charged with possession of a knife and Section 18 assault.
He was kept in custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court, Derby Square this morning, Tuesday, 16 January.
