Woman sexually assaulted on University campus

Detectives have issued CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to following a report of a sexual assault on a woman on the University of Liverpool campus.

The offence occurred between 3.30am and 3.46am on Saturday 11 November 2017 as the 19-year-old victim walked along Peach Street, off Brownlow Hill with a friend.

A man on a pedal bike approached the woman and sexually assaulted her before leaving on the bike.

The victim was not injured in the assault but has been left distressed after the ordeal.

Merseyside Police has issued an image of a man who they believe could help them with their enquiries.
