The Arriva bus strike is likely to continue in to December after unisons have encouraged their members to reject the latest pay offer.
Arriva drivers are striking again today over what appears to be pennies however the unisons say that it is about much more than that.
Crisis talks were held on Friday however they were left without agreement despite Arriva tabling an improved offer and insisting they had offered a “fair pay deal”.
Both unison’s have slammed the offer saying that it amounts to just 1p extra per hour – where as they want 2p extra per hour for it’s members.
Arriva’s offer will be put to members this week with the bus giant urging members to accept however the unison’s are advising members to reject the offer.
