A teenage boy has been arrested after a rooftop stand-off with the police in Tuebrook.
The 16-year-old was seen by police as he climbed onto the rooftop of a property on Buckingham Road at around 9:30pm on Thursday evening.
After he refused to come down, the area was cordoned off as the stand off between the teenager and officers went on for over an hour.
Damage was caused to a skylight at the property before he was brought down safely over an hour later, at 10.45pm.
He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and taken to a police station to be interviewed.
