Police are appealing to a taxi driver in their efforts to find a missing Walton woman.
Georgiana Olteanu was last seen at around 11pm on March 18 at Aintree Hospital and was subsequently reported missing by relatives on April 11.
She was last seen wearing a beige or cream-coloured three quarter-length hooded jacket, a pink top with pink tracksuit bottoms, white trainers, and was carrying a large black handbag.
Georgiana’s family and friends are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and would urge her to get in touch so that they know she is safe and well.
Officers are appealing directly to a taxi driver who detectives believe may have picked up the 30-year-old, originally from Romania, from the hospital to contact police.
Detective Inspector Phil Mahon said: “This person is not in any trouble, but we believe they may have information that could help us locate Georgiana.
“If you are the taxi driver in the silver or light grey Hackney cab pictured, which we know gave Georgiana a lift at about 11pm on Saturday, 18 March, we would like you to contact Merseyside Police.

“Any information you have about where Georgiana was dropped off or what she may have said in the vehicle could prove vital to our efforts to find her.”
Detectives would urge Georgiana, the taxi driver or anyone who knows of her whereabouts to call Merseyside Police on 101 or the charity Missing People on 116 000 or email 116000@missingpeople.org.uk.
