Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed and another suffering a broken jaw after a mixed martial arts event in Liverpool city centre.
Both victims had attended the Cage Warriors show at the Echo Arena on Saturday night before another man had started arguing with them.
Although the pair and their friends left the venue following the event, they were attacked by the man who had been arguing with them outside Anchor Courtyard.
During the Kings Dock assault, a 20-year-old was stabbed while a 47-year-old man suffered a broken jaw. Both were taken to Aintree University Hospital.
Detectives are appealing for information on the offender, who is described as a white male, 5ft 8in tall and medium build.
He was wearing a navy blue T-shirt with a gold triangle logo on it and navy blue trousers.
The offender walked off towards the Premier Inn and joined up with two women.
One of the women was wearing a blue skirt and white top and the other woman was wearing a red tracksuit.
Crime Scene Investigators have carried out forensic examinations at the scene and detectives will be looking at CCTV footage in a bid to identify the offenders.
