Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder following a man’s death in Seacombe.
Emergency services were called at about 12.15pm on Tuesday to a property on Albemarle Road following a report of concern for the safety of a man.
Paramedics attended but he was pronounced dead at the scene. It has since emerge that the deceased was Jeremy Dickinson, a 57-year-old local man.
A Home Office post morten has confirmed that Mr Dickinson died as a result of a blunt trauma to the head.
Detectives have arrested a 35-year-old man from Tranmere on suspicion of murder who remains in police custody where he is being interviewed.
Two further people, a 37-year-old woman from Tranmere and a 34-year-old man from Seacombe, have also been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Both have been taken to a police station in Merseyside to be interviewed.
