A man has been rushed to hospital after an attack in Liverpool city centre.
The victim suffered head injuries in the assault in Duncan Street, close to the city’s Chinatown district, at around 4.35pm on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency services attended the scene which has since been cordoned off.
Police have confirmed that the injured man was taken to hospital, where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
