A man suffered a suspected broken arm and another was left with multiple wounds following an altercation in Prenton.
Police were called to a property in Wellington Road at 8.40pm on Monday and found a man, believed to be in his 20s, with wounds to his head and body.
A second man, in his 30s, was found to have suffered a suspected broken arm.
Three people who were also present at the property were subsequently arrested. A woman in her 40s and two men are set to be questioned on suspicion of affray.
An investigation into the incident and how the men’s injuries were sustained is ongoing.
It is believed that members of the public may have seen the group in a nearby shop, Simply Food and Drinks, and be able to assist with the investigation.
