Three people have been arrested after a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs were thrown from a car window in Speke.
Police stopped a Ford Fiesta in Ganworth Street at around 7.50pm on Sunday evening after a woman was seen disposing of the bag from the driver’s seat.
Over 300 wraps of white and brown powder were found by officers while a search of an address in Hansby Drive saw suspected drug paraphernalia also recovered.
Merseyside Police have confirmed that a 32-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle and driving offences.
Also detained was a 33-year-old man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs while a 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of obstructing a constable.
All three are from the Speke area and will be questioned by detectives in custody.
