A man will appear in court today charged with the murder of Mark Hillman.
John Paul Johns is set to stand before South Sefton Magistrates Court in connection with the killing of the father-of-three in Everton on April 27 last year.
The 22-year-old from Kirkby was arrested by detectives last month and is the fourth person to be charged in the investigation into Hillman’s fatal shooting in Lloyd Close.
Three other men are already awaiting trial later this month. Brandon Billsborough and Connor Hunt, both 18, have denied counts of murder.
Paul John Smith is also charged with assisting an offender and wounding with intent.
