Much loved baby brand, Joie, have released a brand new range of prams in collaborating with Liverpool Football Club.
There range of six products combine club colours and logos with some of Joie’s most popular prams and carseats.
We were lucky enough to test drive the Pact Flex priced at £174.99. Described as their smallest ever package it in theory has everything. According to descriptions you can take this up and down with one hand and as if that wasn’t enough you can fit it all neatly in to a bag.
At the time of receiving it, I was somewhat dubious that it could be as good as it sounded. The outer packaging is nice, a fair amount of LFC branding much to the joy of the men in my life. What did strike me as was being quite small in comparison to the main pram I had purchased for my son but this is supposed to be compact and it was to be expected.
The pram is very easy to assemble, all I had to do was attach the hood and the wheels which is perfect. The last thing you need as a busy parents is a flat pack pram that takes hours to put together.
I was extremely pleased with how easy the pram is to told. On the main handle bar there is a button which slides. You slide this to one side and as a simple as that, the pram can be folded in half. It can be done with one hand and with a baby in arms. It is an extremely good design and will certainly makes the lives of parents easier.
It is as simple to unfold, just one simple opening movement and the pram is open and clicks in to place. This pram is very lightweight. It is by far the lightest pram that I have handled. My only concern and slight bug bear with this is that any changing bag would need to be placed in the basket underneath which would leave no space for any additional shopping. Any extra weight placed on the handles, due to the light weight of the product would almost certainly cause the pram to topple. This is a minor inconvenience when you consider the benefits of the Pact Flex.
This is a perfect on-the-go pram. It fits perfectly in to a bag which is not much bigger than an overnight bag. It is so light that any one can use it. It makes a perfect pram for the grandparents, also. The simplicity of the product means that any one can put it up and down and the weight of the product makes it universally useable.
Joie really have designed a truly excellent pushchair. As a new mum, if I could have described the perfect pram then it would not be much different from this.
Due to the ability to recline the seat this pram is suitable from birth. At the time of this review my son was 4 months old and was able to use this comfortably and I had no concerns about using it when he is so small.
The LFC branding on the pram is subtle but not too subtle. The crest is embroidered on to the hood in crisp white. The chest pads and seat also have LFC embellishing. There is no denying which club our team support when out and about and it attracts some banter with the blues in the city.
Although unable to test this, I understand this particular model is compatible with joie gemm, i-gemm and i-level, or with other infant carriers using maxi-cosi® style attachment. The leg rest is also adjustable to meet the requirements of your growing little ones.
Also included with this pram is a raincover, bumper bar, chest pads and a very effective sun and sleep shade. The price of £174.99 makes this a very good value purchase. The pushchair is of a very high quality and in comparison to similar products from other baby brands it is somewhat cheaper. The product also comes with a two year warranty which offers additional peace of mind.
Overall this is an excellent pushchair for the money, one that I am sure will see my little one through for many more years. The review of this product actually lead me to purchase the Joie Every Stage FX car seat. Joie are fast becoming my new favourite baby brand and their collaboration with LFC makes it even better!
