AskGamblers returns more than $10 million to players worldwide

A website that exists to protect gamblers from dishonest online casinos is celebrating a huge milestone.

AskGamblers is a website that allows users to rank all of the online casinos and to share their experiences, both good and bad. They also hold the casino’s feet to the fire when payments are delayed, or in any other instances where the casinos aren’t acting fairly towards their players.

Fresh off the heels of a strong 2016 where they reached a total of over $8 million in recovered funds for their players, it’s only halfway through 2017 and AskGamblers are already announcing another huge milestone.

Since their inception, AskGamblers has heard many complaints about online casinos and have helped players to get back over 10 million dollars that was owed to them, or that was the subject of a dispute between the player and the casino. The 10 million milestone is a big achievement, and even better news for the players who have had their funds recovered.

Their previous announcement came during their annual report for 2016, when they had returned $8.8 million dollars to the players who were entitled to it through their mediation.

The ten million dollars of recovered funds doesn’t account for all of the disputes that have been avoided altogether due to their tenacity in ensuring that everyone is playing fair. AskGamblers gives a voice to the little guy, but also works hard to ensure that any complaints are legitimate, valid, and fair.

AskGamblers has an entire section of their staff dedicated to handle these complaints.

“It is our diligent customer support team that accepts your complaints, reviews them, and creates a safe environment where you can reach online casinos in question,” explains a representative from AskGamblers.

They take every complaint seriously, and they do their due diligence. That way, when the casino is approached to handle the complaint, they know it’s a legitimate oversight on their behalf.

AskGamblers is quick to remind visitors to their site to file a complaint about a casino if they have been wronged, it’s just a matter of filling out a form. They also offer helpful advice like avoiding any colorful language in your complaint, even if the player is frustrated. They ask that players read their FAQ and submission guidelines before filing a complaint about an online casino. “Feel free to submit a complaint, as long as you follow our submission guidelines and rules,” requests the company in an official statement made earlier this week.

The submission form for a casino complaint is the last step after the player has determined that this issue cannot be solved in another way, which AskGamblers also asks their users to navigate through before escalating. The submission process allows players to describe, in detail, exactly what their complaint is.

They have helped over 6,000 people retrieve funds so far, which is about an average of $1,600 per person if you divide the 10 million by 6000, however the actual amount per person can vary greatly.
