Courteeners will return to Liverpool for their 20th anniversary tour.
The band have released a brand-new single ‘The Luckiest Man Alive’ and best-of compilation ‘God Bless The Band’ which is also the name of their latest tour.
Frontman Lian Fray and The Coral’s James Skelly produced the new single which comes ahead of their set at the city’s M&S Bank Arena on Friday, November 13.
With over 1 million UK album sales and a reputation for unifying massive crowds, Courteeners’ return to Liverpool promises to be one of the city’s autumn highlights.
The band have also committed to donating £1 from every ticket sold to the newly launched LIVE Trust which protects and funds the grassroots music ecosystem..
Liam Fray said: “In October it’s 20 years since our first gig.
“If we mean half as much to people as they have done to us over the years, then we’ve not done too bad. We look forward to seeing you down the front.”.
Tickets go on pre-sale from 10am on Thursday, April 16 before being released on general sale at 10am on Friday, April 17.
