British Music Experience launch Liverpool residents pass

The British Music Experience has launched a Liverpool Residents Pass, giving locals access to the exhibition at a lower price.

Locals can now get access all year round at the British Music Experience at the low cost of £16, the price that usually grants and adult admission for one visit.

While children under five-years-old can still visit for free, now those with an ‘L’ postcode can make a one of payment of £16 to visit the exhibition as many times as they like.

Those with a Residents Pass will be notified of upcoming events like the “In Conversation with…” series, which will see legendary music photographer Kevin Cummins participate in later this year.

Currently on display at the British Music Experience are outfits worn by Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Spice Girls and instruments used by Noel Gallagher to the Sex Pistols.

Backed by Mayor Joe Anderson, he said: “The British Music Experience is a brilliant new attraction in Liverpool and we are excited to have it here.

“I am delighted to be able to announce a residents pass for L postcodes which gives the people of Liverpool the chance to visit time and time again and enjoy the story of British Music here in our city.”

The Residents Pass will allow local music lovers to keep up to date with the constantly growing addition of new exhibits at the British Music Experience.

Judith Owens, Director of Operations said: “Liverpool residents have a fantastic musical knowledge in a city with a unique music history.  We are keen to welcome residents to celebrate the Story of British Music and enjoy the changing exhibits, events and workshops that we will deliver throughout the year.”
