An iconic Liverpool city centre landmark has been put on the market.
The Lewis’s Building was home to one of England’s first department stores when it opened on Ranelagh Street in 1856 and operated until the chain’s closure in 2010.
A number of retail developments operate out of the Grade II listed structure since it underwent a partial redevelopment including Pure Gym and Adagio aparthotel.
Commercial real estate advisor Avison Young and joint agents Area have now been appointed to sell the building’s remaining unoccupied space on a freehold basis.
