A new Liverpool-based artist college has become an accredited accredited VTCT centre offering Level 3 diplomas in Hair and Media Makeup.
Ella Creative Academy is a newly-launched hair and makeup artist college offering a plethora of courses focusing on hair and makeup design.
The brainchild Ruth Marcella, its proximity to the Baltic Triangle stands out amongst other similarly-oriented studios is its proximity to the city’s creative hub.
Launching their first VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Fashion and Photographic make up in January 2017, the hair and makeup artist college is an accredited VTCT centre, eagerly anticipating the opportunity to introduce a wide range of qualifications and diploma in Hair and Media Makeup.
The first students of Ella Creative Academy, have achieved outstanding results for their Level 3 accredited Fashion and Photographic Make Up Exam.
Every student achieved over 80% and one student even scored 100% which was a fitting end to the first course.
The makeup artist and hairstylist team comprising the core of Ella’s tutors give their all to training and courses in hair and makeup, artistry and professional makeup artist skills including airbrushing and special effects.
Starting with the five-day Intro to Makeup Artistry course, students learn the basics required of a makeup artist and gain insight into the makeup industry.
The ‘Intro to Special Effects Makeup’ course is an entry-level class suitable for the beginner, and will introduce students to the foundation of film and TV special effects makeup designs such as scary character effects, gore, character building, blood effects and flesh effects.
