Work on a new £26 million residential development in Liverpool’s waterfront has begun.
Encompassing the city’s iconic Three Graces, Primesite Developments will oversee a full internal conversion and facade treatment of Strand Plaza.
The previously disused office complex formerly a home for the Ministry of Defence but has stood empty for the past 10 years.
It will comprise luxury studio, one and two-bedroom apartments with high-end fixtures and furnishings.
Liverpool-based developer Primesite acquired the property in January and is expected to complete its transformation in the next 12 months, by March 2018.
Believed to be the last property in development on The Strand, it will also include views of the Three Graces, Albert Dock and the city centre from various aspects of the building.
