Craiova has become Wizz Air’s latest route out of Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
The largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe have commenced flights from the Speke Terminal to the Southern Romanian city on Tuesday.
Flying up to three times weekly, on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays, Liverpool will provide the only UK flight routes to Craiova from outside of London.
Wizz Air now have seven destinations available from John Lennon Airport with its exisiting flights to Warsaw, Gdansk, Katowice, Riga, Budapest and Lublin.
Craiova is an ideal short break destination with a strong focus on culture, filled with art, history and museums.
