John Lennon Airport recognised by Investors in People

Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport has been recognised by Investors in People for its commitment to high performance through good people management.

Around 250 staff are employed in various roles at the Speke terminal including fire and rescue service, engineering, air traffic control and administration.

Three years ago. Airport bosses introduced its People Strategy as a key part of its strategic vision, looking to become an employer of choice for existing and future employees.

Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results.

Underpinning the standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry.
