Steve Walsh has revealed that Everton are making steps to sign the next Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez.
The pair were both identified by Walsh in his role at Leicester City and fired the club to an unlikely Premier League title last season.
Walsh became the Blues director of football this summer and has already set about with plans for the January transfer window.
“Recruitment is key at any football club and Everton is no different,” he told the Liverpool Echo.
“Hopefully I can duplicate here what I did at Leicester.
“There are certainly one or two players out there that we’d like to talk to and convince that Everton is the place for them.”
