Everton FC turn to Serie A striker as Perez alternative

Everton have shifted their attention to signing Napoli’s Manolo Gabbiadini after missing out on Arsenal to Lucas Perez.

The Deportivo La Coruna forward is on the verge of a £17 million move to the Emirates Stadium after Arsene Wenger trumped the Blues to the player.

But Ronald Koeman is reportedly planning to revive his interest in Italy international Gabbiadini as an alternative to Perez.

According to the Daily Mail, Napoli want £30 million for the striker but Everton will face competition from Fiorentina, who have offered a part-exchange deal with Nikola Kalinic.
