Everton’s new-look backroom setup is set to have a fresh arrival in Martyn Glover.
The well-travelled scout has been earmarked head up the Blues’ new scouting network following Steve Walsh’s recent appointment as Director of Football.
Glover recently left Sunderland, where he was the club’s head of recruitment during Sam Allardyce’s time in charge and boasts a wealth of experience.
He also worked with the current England manager during his spells at Blackburn and West Ham as well as a brief stint with Leeds United.
Like Walsh, Glover is native to the North West which is likely to prove a key factor in convincing the currently out-of-work talent spotter to move to Goodison Park.
