Yannick Bolasie is set to be unveiled as Everton’s fourth summer signing later today.
The Democratic Republic of Congo international arrived on Merseyside yesterday after the Blues struck a £25 million deal with Crystal Palace.
Bolasie underwent a medical just 24 hours on from a final appearance for the Eagles as a substitute in their opening Premier League defeat to West Brom.
After the game, Alan Pardew revealed that the 27-year-old was ‘close’ to securing a switch to Goodison Park as Ronald Koeman’s latest recruit.
Everton remain in the market for a centre-back with Sunderland’s Lamine Kone earmarked to join the back line ranks following John Stones’ exit.
Lyon winger Rachid Ghezzal is also being considered as a new addition as Koeman looks to add further depth to his current attacking options.
