Everton FC closing in on £25 million signing of Yannick Bolasie

Yannick Bolasie is expected to become an Everton player after Crystal Palace accepted an improved bid of £25 million.

An original offer of £18 million for the Congolese forward was rebuffed by the Eagles on Monday but the Blues’ improved valuation has subsequently been accepted.

Should talks progress, Bolasie could become an Everton player in time for their Premier League season opener at home to Tottenham this weekend.

Misfit striker Oumar Niasse could also be used in a deal amid claims that the Senegal international will be spend a season-long loan spell at Selhurst Park.

Ronald Koeman is eyeing further additions to Everton’s squad before the transfer window closes on August 31 following John Stones’ departure.

Sunderland’s Lamine Kone and Swansea captain Ashley Williams are both currently on Merseyside in anticipation of finalising their moves to Goodison Park.
